Episode Eleven, Series Four: Animal Crackers

VLW talk animals! No animal psychics or psychic animals this time but horse racing chat abounds and the morality of keeping a (pedigree) pet is discussed as well as what our early pets (bunnies and peacocks!) taught us. In a related section, we discuss headwear and what our favourite hats are!

Episode Ten, Series Four: Menstruation Ceremonies and Rites of Passage

VLW were delighted to have friend of the show Tom Besley discuss his recent trip to Papua New Guinea and the menstruation ceremony he witnessed. More information on Tom's PNG adventures can be found on his blog on his experiences.

We all also discussed our own transitions into adulthood- are we still mid-transitonal throes? What rites of passage have we experienced?

Episode Four, Series Three: A tour of Liliane Lijn's studio.

VLW paid a visit to the incredible artist Liliane Lijn, and found out about her life and work. Recently short-listed for her work to be displayed on the fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square, she gave us a tour of her studio and explained some of her pieces to us.

We're really excited to start our third season with Resonance with a brilliant guest!
