Episode Eleven, Series Four: Animal Crackers

VLW talk animals! No animal psychics or psychic animals this time but horse racing chat abounds and the morality of keeping a (pedigree) pet is discussed as well as what our early pets (bunnies and peacocks!) taught us. In a related section, we discuss headwear and what our favourite hats are!

More information on the wonderful young offenders dog-training project can be found here.

Episode Ten, Series Four: Menstruation Ceremonies and Rites of Passage

VLW were delighted to have friend of the show Tom Besley discuss his recent trip to Papua New Guinea and the menstruation ceremony he witnessed. More information on Tom's PNG adventures can be found on his blog on his experiences.

We all also discussed our own transitions into adulthood- are we still mid-transitonal throes? What rites of passage have we experienced?

With music from The Kit Kat Fleet Band and Emma's favourite Jewish themed musical, Fiddler on the Roof.
